LAUREL STANLEY

Laurel is responsible for all internal personnel matters and assists in the execution of day-to-day firm operations, including marketing and growth initiatives. Additionally, Laurel is responsible for leading the Altaira Compliance Group, which assists clients in the operation of their respective compliance programs. Prior to Altaira, Laurel was Director of Compliance, AlTi Global, Inc., Strategic Alternatives, following the merger of TIG Advisors into AlTi. Laurel joined TIG in February 2006 and became a member of the Legal & Compliance Department in September 2015. Laurel was responsible for satisfying the requirements of the Compliance program, reporting directly to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. Additionally, as part of her duties, Laurel performed ESG analysis with respect to the merger arbitrage strategy and led the day-to-day operations of the TIG ESG Program. Laurel was a member of TIG’s Firmwide and Merger Arbitrage ESG committees, as well as co-chair of the AlTi Environmental, Health and Safety Committee.

Laurel received a B.A. in Communication Sciences from the University of Connecticut. In 2021, Laurel attended NYU Stern School of Business and achieved a certificate in Sustainable Finance and ESG Investing. Since 2018, Laurel has served as a volunteer on the board of the Elizabeth Mascia Child Care Center in Tarrytown, New York, a nonprofit organization providing inclusive, accessible, community-based care, and currently serves as Treasurer of the Cub Scouts of America chapter in Irvington, New York.
