DANIEL LYONS

Daniel is head of the Altaira Client Treasury practice and is a Managing Director in the Client Accounting & Operations group giving him responsibility for leading a client experience pod. Prior to Altaira, Daniel was Director of Accounting & Treasury at TIG Advisors where he was responsible for the accounting functions and treasury management of its underlying funds and accounts. Daniel joined TIG in August 2016 following three years at Visium Asset Management, a global multi-strategy funds platform, as a Senior Fund Accountant. Prior to Visium, Daniel started his career with hedge fund administrator, Citi Hedge Fund Services. Daniel received a B.S. in Accounting from George Mason University in 2011 and an MBA from Penn State’s Smeal College of Business in 2017. In 2019, Daniel earned his Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation from the Association of Financial Professionals.
